Word wall words have replaced the traditional spelling list.  These are high frequency 
words for third grade.  We practice them all month.  Students should spell these words 
correctly by the end of the month.  These are often words that do not follow traditional 
spelling rules.  By learning these words, we can apply their patterns to other words we 
hear.
