I have been teaching at NWE since January 1982. For 19 years I was a taught
students with special needs. I have been NWE's Title 1 Reading Specialist
since 2001. I teach second & third grade.
I am the mother of 3 boys, Adam, Nathanial, and Zachary. Adam & Jen have
three children, Joshua, Ellie and Matthew. Nathanial & Jody's child is Haley.
My husband Dan, is a mail carrier
for the Erie Post Office.
I spend lots of time reading and trying to turn others onto books. Some
of my favorite series for kids are: Magic Tree House, Cam Jansen, Bailey
School Kids, Junie B. Jones, Box Car Children, Nate the Great, A Series of
Unfortunate Events and Harry Potter. A few of my favorite authors are Chris
Van Alsberg, Gary Paulsen, Gail Gibbons, Robert Muncsh, and Mem Fox.
