Dear Parents,
We hope everyone has a terrific time at the Mason’s Mill Park field
trip. We enjoy the opportunity to talk to as many parents as we can and to
see the children play in Safety Town. We had a lot of fun in April. Thank
you to all the parents who sent in goodies for our Easter party and to the
moms who helped out at our party and our Easter Egg Hunt. The letter M found
us on the map to see where we live and using the letter N we found our
neighborhoods. The letter W had us talking about what we would need for a
sleep over in the book “What!”, Cried Granny. We were able to go outside and
play even with the changing temperatures. Hopefully, we will be outside more
this month.
We can’t believe it is May already. This month we will be working on the
letters X, Y and Z. We look forward to seeing everyone handsome and
beautiful in their Sunday best for the May Procession on Friday, May 11 at
9:00. This will be followed immediately by our Mother’s Day Tea. We will be
sending home invitations to all of our moms to join us in celebrating this
special day. There will also be a Rita’s Night on May 23 to celebrate the
coming of warmer days.
Due to the lack of snow days, we will NOT be having school on May 17, 18
and May 25. Looking ahead to coming events, we will be having our Preschool
Field Day on June 1 and our Closing Ceremony on June 5. There will be more
information to follow as the dates get closer.
Here are some dates to keep in mind:
May 11 May Procession/ Mother’s Day Tea
May 13 Mother’s Day
May 17, 18 NO SCHOOL
May 23 Rita’s Night
May 25, 28 NO SCHOOL
