About The Teacher

Welcome to my website! My name is Mrs. Laura-Anne Wright. I will be
giving birth to my first child in Septemeber 2011! I am so excited to begin
this new chapter in my life! I will be returning from my leave for the 2012-
2013 school year.
I am a graduate of Holy Family University with a B.A. and dual certification
in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. I also hold my MBA which is a
Master's in Business Administration. Also, I am currently pursuing a second
Master's degree in Education as well. My hope is to one day also earn my Phd
in Education as well. I have always enjoyed learning and consider myself a
life-long learner!!

Teaching runs in my family! My brother, sister-in-law, and cousin have all
chosen this wonderful profession! I have been working with children of
various ages for over seventeen years. I started working with young children
when I was nineteen years old!I can not imagine not working with children and
teaching them every day! I enjoy teaching because of the joy
the students bring to my life. I am also excited to enter the classroom and
begin each day! As you can probally tell--Teaching is my passion!

Mission For The Class

The mission for any class that I work with is to incorporate the Catholic
faith into their everyday lives, and to develop and grow as a community of
learners who are able to create, imagine, and dream as they progress through
the year. Young children are imaginative, loving, fun, curious, and above all
natural learners! My hope is that they will continue to be inquisitive life
long learners! Early childhood and the primary grade years are a wondrous
time for children as they learn and grow. It is my hope that the parents and
I working together through the school year will nurture the students natural
gifts and talents.
