Hello!
The end of the school year is coming fast. We're looking forward to the May
Procession, "Funday", graduation, and the various activities that help us to
finish the school year and prepare us for the summer. I'm glad that the
children can go outside to play now that we have such nice weather.
Your children are still working hard - finishing up all the "loose ends."
It's hard to believe that they are the same "little ones" that came to 3-1 in
August!!! They have all grown and matured tremendously and you can be proud
of their accomplishments in Third Grade.
We'll have our "End of the Year" Breakfast in June - next month!!! Have a
beautiful month of May and a happy, safe Memorial Day.

REMINDER
Please note that the children have Spelling/Vocabulary homework every night
from Monday until Thursday on the "Spelling City" website. The nightly
homework schedule is posted on the "Spelling City" tab located on the left
hand side of this web page. It is also taped to the inside front cover of
their "Assignment Books".
Also, please use "First in Math" every night for at least 10 minutes to
practice timestables.
If there is no computer available or a problem with the one that is used in
your home, please indicate this by jotting down a note in the "Assignment
Book" or leaving me a phone message. Your child can use the classroom
computer as soon as he/she arrives in the morning to complete the assignment.
There may also, occassionally, be written homework in Spelling.
