Remember that Gym is on Monday, Library on Tuesday.
Good grief...42 days until Christmas. I know that's not the message you
wanted to hear, but that's it!
There will be no Religion or Spelling test Thanksgiving week. Wednesday,
November 25, will be an early dismissal, 11:30. Mass will be at 9:30 at St.
Peter Church. Classes will resume on Monday, November 30.
With Christmas just around the corner, I will be sending home a note about a
Christmas project that we do every year in my room. We make a keepsake gift
for a very special someone that is sure to become a Christmas treasure
brought out year after year. I am asking if you are able, to send in $1.20
to help cover the cost of the project. Making it turns into something of a
party because we invite fourth grade girls who were in my room in second
grade to come down and help anyone who needs help with making the project.
We enjoy candy canes and cookies and pretzels while we are working. I send
candy canes up to the other fourth grades for them to enjoy as well.
At this time of year we all turn our thoughts to those for whom we are
grateful that God has gifted us with. From my dear family my thoughts turn to
my other 'family' here at PJPII, which happily includes all of you. I'm
grateful for all you do for us in Grade 2 Room 2, and for PJPII in general.
