Hello!
My name is Mrs. Kate Dougherty. I have been teaching at CACES/PJPII
since September 1998 and have enjoyed working with the students and parents.
I live in Unioville/Chadds Ford with my husband, Joe. He works for the
Dupont Company in Wilmington, Delaware.
Our oldest daughter, Megan, is married and lives with her husband, Randy in
Newtown Square. They have two little boys. Reilly is 3 years old and
Patrick is 15 months. I love being a grandmother!!!
Megan is a graduate of Drexel University where she earned a degree in Design
Merchandising. Prior to her becoming a mom, she was a buyer with QVC in
West Chester. She is now a stay at home mom.
Our son, Joe, is a graduate of Drexel University with a degree in Finance.
He is working in Philadelphia for Metro Commercial and living in Manyunk. He
plays soccer and loves to mountain bike. He enjoys his work and being a
bachelor!
Our youngest daughter, Tricia, is a graduate of West Chester University
where she earned a degree in Elementary Education and Special Education.
She teaches 4th grade at Chadds Ford Elementary Elementary School in the
Unionville-Chadds Ford School District and loves it! She was married this
past August 8th to her high school sweetheart, Jeff Monaco. They live in
Downingtown.
I look forward to meeting all the new 5th graders and your families. The
2009-2010 year will be a fun and exciting year!!
I believe in teaching the whole student and incorporating our Catholic faith
in all we do. In doing so, students are able to develop academically,
spiritually and socially. I strive to guide my students to become
responsible and respectful of themselves and others.
