Dear Parents,
Welcome to the Language Lab at Pope John Paul II School. The Language
Lab is up and running. I hope to begin to have classes starting next week. I
think the children are excited about it. Next week when they come to class
they will receive their username and password so that they can work at home
also. I am very excited and anxious to get started.
Thank you for all the parents that stopped in last night. It was
wonderful to see and meet some new people and reconnect with some old ones. I
urge the parents of the children in grades K-4 to stop in on Monday night.
This just a suggestion and after talking with some of the parents
last night, it may be a good idea to purchase a headset. The headset the
children will be using in the lab is: Logitech, USB Headset H530. Since a
good deal of the program is listening and speaking it may be a good investment.
I am looking forward to working and meeting all the children next
week. Please say a little prayer that all goes well.
