Thank you ALL for attending conferences! It is very refreshing to be able to
meet with every parent! I am looking forward to another wonderful trimester
with your children;)

As many of you know, the Holidays are a difficult time for many families.
This year, the threat of a declining economy and a recession has hit closer
to home than many of us would like. Each year, in lieu of teacher gifts, I
ask that you donate your time, or a gift, to a special family. Our class
will be adopting a family this Holiday season and we will be collecting gifts
and new clothes during the month of December. I will have more information
regarding the dynamics of the family in the next week or so! This is
something I enjoy doing with the kids each year, as they learn so much about
each other, the world around them, and how to be thankful for everything you
give them each day! Knowing that they are helping a family in need gives
them all such a great sense of pride!
We will be having our 3rd annual Wrapping Party on Friday, December 18th from
1:30 - 2:30! We will work together to wrap all of the items we have
collected for our special family! You must have your clearances to attend,
so if you do not have them as of yet, there is still plenty of time to get
them;) Please start collecting boxes and wrapping paper for our party! I
have plenty of scissors and tape, but we will need lots of paper!!!
