What happens if my child forgets his/her lunch?

If there is money in the account they can buy a lunch, if not they can 
charge lunch, and pay back the next day.

No big deal.  Send it in the next day, and they can exchange for a new book.

Can I volunteer in the classroom?

YES!  As long as you have your clearances. For a one shot deal (ie:mystery 
reader), you do not need clearances.

What if I volunteer, and can't make it on my day?

Please contact another volunteer(phone numbers on the back of the Ocotober 
calendar)to switch, and if not possible just call the school and leave a

My child can not do the assigned homework on that night?

Swim team, soccer practice, etc. I've been there! Just write on the homework 
sheet why homework could not be done, and you can do it the next night.

How does my child make up work after an absence?

If your child is absent I will put all the homework and work aside for yur 
child to make up.  Some things we do in class,can only be done in class and 
will be meaningless to your child unless they were here. For example, 
responding to a read aloud, or practicing a brand new concept.  In that case, 
I will cover the work with your child.
