Reading – Drawing conclusions and making inferences will be skills on
which we will concentrate. Students
will continue to participate in reader’s workshop. The reading log is due 11/16.
Language Arts – By using advice in the mentor text, Nothing Ever Happens
on 90th Street, students will create a writing piece.
Spelling – There
is a list for this week. Students
should study their individual list at home.
Math – We are continuing
to work on multiplication.
Students will be taking their second timed fact test. Check the homework agenda each night for
the assignment..
Social Studies – Students
will be studying five ethnic groups that have influenced our nation’s
development.
November 13 In-service Day - no school for students
