Ms. Auchenbach teaches 7th and 8th grade Family and Consumer Sciences. The
major units she teaches at South include clothing and textiles and consumer
economics. Ms. Auchenbach will be at the high school for first period
everyday where she will teach a foods course during the Fall and a parenting
skills course in the Spring. This is Ms. Auchenbach's third year at South
Middle School and second year at the high school. She received a Bachelor's
degree in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism from the University of Florida
before going on to study Family and Consumer Science Education at Immaculata
University. This past summer, Ms. Auchenbach completed her Master's degree in
Education from Wilkes University.
Ms. Auchenbach was raised in this area and has decided to return here to
raise her 5 year-old daughter, Rose. Rose will be entering kindergarten this
year. Ms. Auchenbach is very excited to be a
part of the South family.
