Consumer Economics

7th and 8th grade students in the consumer economics unit will analyze their 
savings and spending habits, learn how to use the decision making process to 
budget their earnings, and learn basic banking skills.  Students will also 
learn persuasion techniques used in stores, commercials, etc. to attract 
their attention and cause impulse buying. In addition, the skills for 
finding, applying for, and interviewing for a job are emphasized.
