Dear
Parents,
Our year is
quickly drawing to a close and I wanted to give you information on the upcoming
events:
On Thursday,
May 27, we will have our closing program for the 3 year old
class. This program is very informal and
we share with you some of the things that we have learned and some of our
favorite activities. The program will
take place in the Fellowship Hall and everyone is invited to attend. Following the program there will be some time
for refreshments and fellowship and after that students are dismissed. The
students are to arrive at 9 AM and then the program will be held at 10 AM; all
activities should be over by 11 AM.
The end of
the year picnic will be held Friday,
June 4 at Cribbs Field in
Verona. Students are to be dropped
off and picked up at Cribbs Field.
You have received a permission slip and a volunteer form for the
picnic. This picnic is for all the Preschool
classes and the Kindergarten class. This
is a fun day but there are many students to supervise therefore if you
volunteer, younger siblings are not able attend. Students
are to arrive at 10 AM and will be dismissed at 12:30 PM. Please pack a lunch for your child, drinks
will be provided. Please pack items
in your child’s lunch that do not need to be refrigerated and be sure to put
your child’s name on his/her lunch.
It has been
a blessing to serve your child and family this year. The children have grown physically,
spiritually, socially and academically and it has been a joy and a privilege to
be a part of that growth. Enjoy your
summer and we hope to see you at Vacation Bible School July 12-16!
