Homework: Your child will receive homework at least twice a week.
Please remind your child to color the page if necessary.
Parents should sign each paper at the top. Children should print their name
on each paper. Ask your child what the directions were from the teacher!
REMEMBER: COLOR YOUR HOMEWORK!!!! I will try to give the children an extra
direction on homework papers to build memory skills. Ask if there are any
extra directions. NO MARKERS OR PEN!! CRAYONS AND PENCILS ONLY!
IN JANUARY:
SPELLING TESTS - This should help us learn and remember the sight
words. Keep practicing. We will have a pretest on Wednesday. This will
help the children learn the words by Friday.
YOUR CHILD'S READING SKILLS WILL DEVELOP QUICKLY AND FIRMLY IF THEY
KNOW THE SIGHT WORDS. PLEASE REVIEW AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE!
SIGHT WORDS: Your child will learn sight words and color words.
Practice counting 1- 50. Review letters and sounds. CAN YOU SPELL
