Welcome to St. Philip Parish's Youth Ministry page :)
St. Philip Youth Ministry is FUN and NOT lecture based. It involves faith
in action; we are called to serve and to make positive differences in one
another's lives. We are called to live Mark 12:29-31. There will be many
opportunities for YOU to reach out and use your God-given gifts to reach out
to others. We will attend Lovewalk, be a part of SOUPer Bowl, have plays,
have gym time for sports, and many other opportunities to grow in wisdom and
in our relationship with our Lord.
St. Philip's Youth Ministry is comprised of the High School Youth Group
(students in 9-12 grade) and the Middle School Youth Group (students in 6-8
grade). High School & Middle School Groups are separate to address the
needs of each group. However, both Middle School & High School Youth Groups
come together as well, and both have FUN & take part in Comprehensive Youth
Ministy: advocacy, catechesis, community life, evangelization, justice &
service, leadership development, pastoral care, and prayer & worship.
