PARENTS AND STUDENTS: Please remember that June 1st is the class field trip.
Students should pack a lunch and drink to take with them. There is no school
on Monday, but Tuesday will be our picnic in the park. Please remember to
bring in your permission slips for our class picnic in the park. You will also
need to pack a lunch and drink on that day to take with you to
the park.
6A PARENTS: URGENT! We are in need of Kleenex and clear hand sanitizer
(uncolored like original Purelle or Germ-X as many students have allergies to
the scents in the colored sanitizers.)If you are able to send a box in with
your child, it would be greatly appreciated. I will bring in some emergency
boxes and bottles to get us through the next few days, but some help would be
wonderful. Mine is the only middle school room that has EVERY middle school
student, so we run out of Kleenex and hand sanitizer very quickly. Thank you!!!

6A Parents: If your child is absent or tardy, please send a note explaining
the reason for the absence/lateness. If I don't receive a note, it must be
listed as an unexcused absence.
PARENTS:
If your child is in Spanish class, please be aware that I try to post all
homework assignments on my 6A web page under the homework section. EVERY
STUDENT is supposed to bring home a Spanish notebook to study for 10-15
minutes on each week night. Spanish builds on previous learning, so students
cannot afford to forget anything that they have learned. If the students will
read over their notes on a daily basis, they won't forget what has been
learned in class. Please monitor your child's Spanish study time. Thank you!
Supply list for Spanish:
one notebook dedicated to Spanish
one Spanish-English dictionary (Webster's green dictionary is good and is low
priced)
sharpened pencils
personal (mini) pencil sharpener
black or blue ink erasable pens
a good eraser
Please bring a small personal hand sanitizer, packet of tissues, and a bag in
which to place used tissues to have at your desk. (This avoids a lot of
unnecessary interruptions in class.)
