Grading Policy

-	All quizzes, tests, and projects are announced in advance.
-	Students are expected to make up any test, or quiz they miss due to 
        any absence.
-	Projects will be assigned with written instructions, due date, and a rubric for scoring. 
-	Test Folders will be sent home weekly- please sign or initial each assessment.

Homework Policy

- Each day, students are responsible for copying that night’s homework into their assignment 
books, and are given adequate time to do so.  Students receive 100 points per trimester for each 
subject.  As homeworks are turned in, students maintain the 100.  However, five points are 
deducted from that 100, each time a homework assignment is incomplete.

Copybook Policy

- All students are expected to use pencil in their Math copybooks, and black pen in all other 
copybooks.  Students must write in cursive, and must use headings that include a title, page 
numbers, and the date.  These headings must be underlined with a red pen and ruler.  Students 
receive 100 points for their copybook at the beginning of each trimester.  For every entry that is 
missing a copybook component; (proper heading, cursive writing, pencil/pen,) or contains an 
undesired component; (scribbling, doodling, drawing, colorful artwork,) students will lose 5 
points.
