I graduated from Cabrini College with a BS in Elementary Education and from
St. Joseph's University with a MA in Education. I began my teaching career
in the Marple-Newtown School District where I taught for seven years before
I started my family. When my children went to school at St. Anastasia's, I
started substituting there. I was called to substitute at Sacred Heart for
two weeks in October, 1992, and I have been here ever since. My husband,
Jerry, was a Marple Twp. policeman/detective for 27 years. He just retired
from his job as an investigator with the PA Dept. of Revenue. We have four
children. Our three daughters and one son are college graduates and are all
employed in their respective majors.
I am an avid sports fan. I follow Penn State and Notre Dame football,
Villanova basketball, the Phillies and the Eagles. I love to read in my
spare time. I also enjoy traveling with my husband and family. The Jersey
shore is one of my favorite vacation spots.
I want the children in my class to develop a lifelong love of learning. I
want them to fulfill their potential in all areas: religious, academic, and
social. I want them to have fun while they work to achieve their goals.
