How many books can be checked out each week?

Each student is permitted to check out one book each week that 
they should
be reading for enjoyment. If students are working on a project
arrangement
can be made to check out other books related to their project.

Can you renew a book?

All books can be renewed.  However, if a book is on hold for 
another
student, only one renewal is permitted.

What happens if a book is lost or damaged?

The student is resposible to pay for the lost or damaged book.  A 
fee must
also be payed to reprocess the book.

Can books be donated?

The library does accept new books donated in memory of a loved 
one.
Monetary donations are also accepted to purchase books from our
library
vendor. Each book contains a book plate honoring your loved one
and the
person who made the generous donation.

Can gently used books be donated?

We do accept donated books in good condition.  Most often we do 
not keep
them for the school library unless they are hardback. However,
we do
distribute them to our classroom libraries.

Can people volunteer to help in the library?

YES! We are always looking for people to help shelve books in the 
library.
You can help with this right before school or during the school
day.
It usually takes only 45 minutes or less.
