                              CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK
was a great success. We all enjoyed playing bingo, Math24, lunch with our
families, career speakers, and of course, bowling. A highlight of the week
was our closing Mass when we were joined by many of our alumni. St. Aloysius
is Terrific!

8th Grade Grammar - We'll be spending the next two weeks on adverbs,
adverbial prepositional phrases, and adverbial subordinate clauses.
7th Grade Grammar - Punctuation is the focus for this week and next week.
8-1 Reading - We'll be reviewing comprehension from ideas inferred within a
story. The SRA program will be our means of practice. Each student's goal
will be to improve his or her score on each card completed.

KEEP COLLECTING BOX TOPS. NEXT COMPETITION COMING SOON!

A SINCERE THANK YOU TO OUR STUDENTS AND FAMILIES

Once again, I cannot begin to thank you for all the holiday wishes, goodies,
and gifts. Your kindness is so much appreciated. Most of all, I am grateful
for being able to teach at Saint Aloysius. I anticipate every day with a
smile because your children are such a joy to me. They were so cooperative
and caring while I was in the wheelchair for the weeks before Christmas and
being with them helped me to get through a time when I felt so limited.
May your New Year be a healthy and happy one. God bless.
