Seventh Grade - Lost Colony Rap
In 1585 there was a guy named Raleigh;
He went to Roanoke and started a folly.
The people all left, cause life was hard.
The Monarch didn't quit, he just dealt another card.
White came back and he started again.
With a brand new farm and chickens in a pen.
Mr. White left to go home for a while.
Came back a little later in his own special style.
The folks were all gone and the space was quiet.
Did they all disappear or was there some kind of riot?
We'll never know what happened that day.
Did they die, get taken or just run away???
