Hello Parents! November is off to a great start! We have been doing so many
festive things! The three year old class have fingerpainted some turkeys
that our now hanging in our hallways and the four year old class have put
together a turkey that goes with a poem. We also made "turkey" cookies for
our three year old class and have made peanut butter and chocolate chip
cookies for our four year old class. Whew! - Have we been busy!!!
Our theme for this week will be Pilgrims. Our color is yellow. We will be
working on the letter H and still reviewing the number 5 and starting on the
number 6.
We are presently out of paper dixie cups for snack time - If you have any
extra laying around the house - we would greatly appreciate it!
Please note: Since Mrs. Shrum is now working every day in our room, we are
now going to ask the parents to refrain from walking their children down the
stairs. Mrs. Shrum will assist any child that would need help - we are
now into our third month of school, so I do think it is time to let your
child become just a bit more independent - hanging up his own coat and
putting away his own bookbag. Parents, I know this can be tough on you, but
you can do it! Thanks for being brave!
Have a great week and I will do my best to put the field trip pictures on the
web page this weekend. I usually have my husband or my son help me with that-
and since the Phillies are no longer playing, maybe this weekend they can
lend me a hand!:)
