First Grade will be in charge of baking and selling the "Special Snacks for
Special Causes" on Friday, Dec. 4.Thank you to Mrs. McGee for volunteering to
man the snack table.Mrs. Donnelly from A1 will also be there.
Four people have signed up to bake so we only need one more. So far we have
brownies, rice krispie treats,cupcakes,cookies and oranges. It can be home-
made, bought, even fruit,etc. Please put in baggies or individually wrap.Any
snack sells!Please let me know if you can help.
Thank you for all the stamps that have been sent in. We are looking forward
to our card exchange projsct. We will be creating the cards on Tuesday. Mrs.
Merritt will help us put the finishing touches on.
The permission slip for the Boyertown Planetarium trip will come home in this
week's Wed. folder. The cost is $5.00.Please return by Dec. 1. We are going
with second grade. The show we will see is called: "The Star of Bethlehem."
We have started a "Mystery Reader" program in First Grade. If you would like
to come and read to our class, please email or send me a note and we'll work
out a time. The children have really been enjoying our mystery guests.
To clarify some information:
Please check their homework and sign the copybook each night.
Book Reports are due on Friday. They will pick a new book each week. If you
think they need a different level book, let me know.Unfortunately a Level 1
book is not always the same across the board. If your child is home
sick and you have a book from home, that is fine also.
Religion and Spelling tests will usually be on Fridays. Check their copybooks
for any changes.
We will not do a Spelling List or Religion chapter Thanksgiving Week.
Please start to save and send in toilet paper rolls for an Advent project.
