This is my sixth year teaching First Grade at St. Aloysius. Before coming
to St. Aloysius I spent 22 years teaching at the preschool and kindergarten
levels. I really enjoy First Graders and am glad to have made the move "up".
My husband, Wayne, and I have two children.Kevin recently graduated from The
University of Pittsburgh and now works for Chester County in the Treasurer's
office. Erika is beginning her college career at Towson University this fall.
This year will be an adjustment with Kevin back home and Erika gone! Wayne's
mother,a St. Al's grad, also lives with us.
My main goal for my First Graders is to instill a love for reading. I hope
to see them catch the reading bug, where they can't put a book down.I hope
to build their self confidence enough so they will be risk-takers and go on
to be great learners.Lastly,but most importantly, I want to help their
parents in their faith formation.
