Thank you to all the parents that sent in snacks for Cupcakes for a Cause.
Thanks for being so flexible with the day change. We will use the money to
pay for the crafts we make for our friends at Manatauny Manor. We will also
help a family in need and send gifts in a stocking to two servicemen who will
be overseas for the holidays.
We are working on a very exciting Christmas project in Writing and Social
Studies. We have received a list of students from all over the United States
including Canada. We will send a card from A1 and wait to receive our
cards. Then we will discuss all the different states we received cards
from. We ask each child to bring in a stamp to help with postage and
handling. Thank you to all the parents who already sent in a stamp.
During the month of December there will be two books reports due. One will
be due the week of the 7th and one will be due the week of the 14th. There
is no report due this week or the week before Christmas.
Upcoming Reminders
- Pack a lunch with drink for Thursday, 12/10.
- Report cards sent home 12/11.
- Cookie Walk - 12/12, 12/13 after all masses in Begley Hall. Drop off
cookies Friday and Saturday. Every child receives a N.U.T. coupon if cookies
are sent in. The coupon is for Wed. Dec. 16.
- We will be making gingerbread houses on 12/16. Please send in item by
12/15. Thank you so much for your help.
- Christmas Party will be Friday, December 18 with our 8th grade friends. I
will send home reminders to the parents who signed up. We keep it simple
with a drink and some cookies for everyone. Thanks again for all your help.
-Please send in item for the family we are sponsoring at St. Aloysius by
12/18. We discussed how each child should do acts of kindness to help with
the cost of each item. Thanks again!!!! We could not do all we do without
all your generosity.
