                                               Daily Schedule

Our class schedule includes Circle Time, Religion, Mathematics, ILA(Reading and Writing), Learning Centers, Social Studies/ Science, and Specials.

Every morning begins with Circle Time. At this time we greet each other and learn the days of the week, we count, sing, and read a story. We also talk about what we are going to be during the day.

Everyday at school we will pray in the morning, at meals, and in the afternoon. We read stories from the Bible, learn about Holy days and seasons like Advent, and talk about how God made all of us and everything on Earth.

The children will learn to count, recognize numbers, make sets using similarities, and identify shapes and colors. We will also identify and make patterns.

We use a great program to learn the Alphabet that includes a special puppet with a story , activivities, and songs. We work on an Alphabet book during the year and the completed work is sent home in June. Each week we'll have a new "letter of the week" and one child will be given the Letter Bag.They will be asked to place 5 things that begin with the letter and return it to school.

Our class also has a special puppet named P.Mooney and the children love all the stories, activities, and songs taught by this very interesting puppet. We learn many things but most importantly we learn to listen to each other and communicate our ideas to the class.

A very special time each day is the Learning Centers where the children get to play and yes learn. I'll explain the centers more when you've had a chance to see the classroom.

Please check out the schedule of Specials under- Important Information and Classroom Schedule.
Note, there was a change in our Library time. We'll still go on Friday but at 9:45 instead of 12:45.
