How can I communicate with you?
The best way to communicate with me is to send me a note, in an envelop,to school. The children put the notes in a red basket on my desk. Please include a time that I can best reach you by phone. You may also call the school office and leave a message for me to call you. Please let me know in your note or message what information you need, in case I need to check on facts or need to gather other information to help you with your need.Back to Top

Why does my child have so much homework?
The children are assigned age appropriate homework that can be easily completed in the sixty minutes alloted time. If your child is actively doing their homework,in a noninterrupted setting with few distractions, homework should not take that long to complete. However, if your child is only halfheartedly working on the assignment, or trying to complete classwork that was incomplete and homework assignments as well; a time issue comes into play. I usually suggest a reward system if a child is taking forever to complete his work. Set a timer and establish a reward (like watching a favorite show or playing a game together)that is earned if the child completes the assignments in the agreed upon time. You would be surprised at how quickly they can finish up! I am also willing to check your child's Assignment Sheet at the end of the day to make sure the assignments were all written down correctly.Back to Top
