                               The Tee Shirt Book Report!
                          A Saint John’s Tradition Continues
                                Due Date: January 28th

A long time tradition of the Third Grade at Saint John’s is to write a book
report about one the student’s favorite books. But this is no ordinary book
report; it is done on a tee shirt! The children are asked to draw two of
their favorite scenes from the story on the tee shirt; any way that they
want. The sky is the limit! They may use paints, fabric markers, computer
transfer paper, computer paint programs, decals, glitter, glue on gems, pipe
cleaners; whatever gets their creative juices flowing. The only requirement
is that THEY draw the pictures. Adults may help transfer or paste the picture
and decorations on the tee shirt; but the work must reflect each student’s
own artwork. So dig out those craft supplies and let your imaginations fly!

All tee shirts will be on display in the classroom during the Open House for
Catholic Schools Week. The childrern will be Walking Book Reports! Stop buy
and read a review!
