I am a graduate of St. Joseph's University (Go HAWKS!) with a degree in
Elementary Education.
I have been teaching for 17 years. This is my 5th year at SPN. I am also a
parishioner. My 2 children attend SPN. Abby is in 6th grade and Sophie is
in 3rd grade.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, dancing,
baking, and gardening.
Our mission in 2nd Grade is to inspire the children to be the best they can
be. Our favorite word is EFFORT. We strongly encourage the children to
make an effort in all aspects of their learning: academically, socially,
emotionally, and morally. We try to foster not only a sense of community,
but also one of independence and responsilbility.
It is also our mission to bring the children closer to God. We want them to
see and feel Jesus in their words and actions. We prepare the children for
the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. This is a very
special year not only for our students, but for us teachers as well. It
gives us great joy and satisfaction to watch the children meet Jesus in
these 2 blessed sacraments.
