Homework PolicyHomework is an important part of your child's academic growth. It provides practice of skills we have learned in the classroom. We discuss concepts, learn content and do a small amount of practice. Homework should not be seen as a punishment, but rather as a way to enrich your child's academic development. You should expect that your child will have some type of homework each day. Each day your child will be filling out a section in his/her homework assignment book. Homework will also be posted on our class web-page. Please sign the homework assignment book and each assignment for that night. I encourage you to set up a routine scheduled time for homework each day. Students should be able to do most assignments independently but with supervision. If you notice that your child is not able to do an assignment on his/her own, in a timely manner, please let me know.
