I graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in History
Education. I taught 7th and 8th grade American History and 7th grade ILA at
Holy Family School in Phoenixville for 6 years. This is my 2nd year teaching
at SPN. I graduated from St Philip's in 1995 and I am excited to return to my
alma mater as a teacher!
I believe in the faith-centered education Catholic School provides, as well
as the mission of the Catholic School to academically challenge every student.
Every student has the potential to succeed. My goal is to provide a
challenging, academic program tailored to fit the needs of all my students. I
strive to facilitate a challenging environment where students
are encouraged to take intellectual risks while broadening their academic
skills. I seek to accommodate the varied learning styles of my students and
motivate them through positive reinforcement. I also want to encourage my
students to take pride in their school work and accomplishments. My overall
goal as an educator is to inspire my students to pursue excellence, embrace a
love of learning and recognize their intrinsic ability for success.
