Peaceful School Initiative
moves into the 21st century as a collaborative approach to school-based
decision making and provides curricular and extracurricular peace education
activities for students. Teaching methods that stress participation,
cooperation, problem solving and respect for differences are first and
foremost.
Action Plan – Students will engage in several peaceful components such as,
Greeting Time, Friendship, Mini lessons,Monrning Message, and Weekly meetings.
During the month of May we will continue to focus on proper greetings
and building connections to friends and family. Student will plant flowers
representing friendships growth over time.
Activities
Students will review the meaning of friendships. Activity "CHANGE OF HEART!"
