Hello, my name is Kathy DeSimone. This is my fifth year teaching eighth
grade at St. Philip Neri School. I am currently teaching eighth grade
Science, Mathematics, Religion, and Language Arts. I completed a
Masters Degree in Education with a Reading Specialist Certification at
Cabrini College. I am Pennsylvania state certificated for instructing Middle
School Science. I have been teaching in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia for
30 years. I am also a CCD teacher at my home parish Our Lady of Mount Carmel
in Bridgeport, and have been involved with CYO over twenty years.
My husband and I are blessed with three children; Matt, Tina, and Jenny.
My family and I enjoy spending our time together participating with sport
programs in the Philadelphia area. Dinner is a great time in which we enjoy
each others company with conversation and laughter. As a family we enjoy
playing softball, volleyball, bicycling, and watching movies. Personally, I
enjoy reading, walking, and listening to music.
Entering my fifth year at St. Philip Neri School, I am happy to be part
of a wonderful school community. I am very grateful for all your support and
kindness welcoming me to the SPN community.
