I earned my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education
from Chestnut Hill College. I recently earned my Masters
Degree in Education and reading specialist certification at Cabrini
College.
This is my 6th year teaching 3rd grade at Saint
Philips. I also enjoy teaching science to both third grade classes.
One of my favorite children's books is "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" by
Judi Barrett.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, playing softball and volleyball, and
spending time with my family and friends. My husband and I have a cat named
Lovey.
My goal for my third grade students is for the students to learn, work, and
think independently and cooperatively. We work on becoming more responsible
for our work as individuals. In third grade, the students use their
foundation of reading skills to become more comprehensive readers. Most
importantly, we encourage the students to grow closer to God, and to develop
spiritually and morally. I create a welcoming and supportive learning
environment for the students to feel appreciated and successful. My ultimate
goal is for your child to succeed!
