The Second Grade Liturgy was a beautiful event on Thursday. The responses, songs and actions were all done respectfully and prayerfully. Everyone enjoyed the children’s attention and enthusiasm at MassJ 

  Family Heritage Projects continue to go well. The few that have been shared have been interesting, entertaining and tasty (some delicious ethnic treats). The projects are a speaking/listening grade for the children.

  We still have some children who have not yet returned spring pictures. Please do so as soon as possible.

  Friday, June 1 is a tag day to benefit For Pete’s Sake, an organization that “enables cancer patients and their loved ones the opportunity to strengthen, deepen and unify their relationships by creating unforgettable and lasting respite vacations”. A donation of at least $1.00 is required to participate in tag day.

  Thursday, May 31 is the last hot lunch day. Friday, June 1 is the last Chick fil a day. Your child will receive chick fil a if you preordered. The last two weeks of school necessitate you to send lunch, snacks and drinks each day. There will be no food sold at school.

  Friday, June 1 is also the last day for BEAR Book Club minutes to be tallied.

  Please also remember to return the slip for reading for our Slumber Party on June 8.

  Typing Agent is up and running again. Encourage your child to work on that program.

  Please encourage your child to work on First in Math at home. It is an online Math activity that the school pays for that is a great review in Math – plus it is fun. We have had some different winners this week.
