*Each student will need a set of Rosary Beads for the month of October.

*Picture day will be on Tuesday, 10/17. Students will be allowed to dress down or wear their uniform-- it's up to you! Please feel free to send in payments and order forms any day leading up to picture day!

*Our Field Trip to Cherry Crest Farm is scheduled for Wednesday, October 18th. On that day, students will wear their gym uniforms and pack a lunch--please no glass bottles or containers! We will meet our chaperones outside of school. Our bus will depart at 9:00 for Cherry Crest.

*Regular school uniforms will begin on Monday 10/23. Sperrys may only be worn by junior high students until summer uniforms will be worn again. The Uniform Exchange has put their supply under the stairs near the music room. If you are in the building, feel free to stop by and take any needed uniform items!

*Parent Teacher Conferences will be held after school on Tuesday 10/24 and during the morning and afternoon of Wednesday 10/25. Students will not have school on 10/25. Please click the following link to sign up for a conference: Phone or email conferences are also available. If you would like to schedule one of those conferences, you can email me!

*Our Halloween part will be held on 10/31 at 1pm. The following is the SignUp Genius link for volunteers: Homeroom parents and parents who sign up for the book, craft, and game may attend the party. Thank you to everyone who signed up to send something in, as well!

*This year, SSPP will be switching from TeacherWeb to Google Sites. More will be explained at Back to School night. In the meantime, check out the Google Sites for our class this year- 

*The Home and School Association is beginning a new project called "Adopt an Area". Each grade is assigned to a particular area in the school that they are being asked to volunteer to maintain. First grade and seventh grade families are being asked to maintain the Kindergarten playground. Work can be done on weekends, evenings, during school hours (where applicable). Please contact the HSA Board Members (Sally Lemheney, Jocelyn Wood, Trish Salome, and Scott McKeon) with any questions or suggestions!
