Our Valentine's Party will be held on Monday afternoon. Please do not drive yourself crazy trying to put all the students' names on the cards. Leave it blank or put "friend". We have 22 friends in our class! <3

*If your child is interested please send me an e-mail or note with their name, grade, and classroom number. I will be sending home a contact information sheet home to be sent back to me! If you have any donations or know any one who is getting rid of old Lego's please send them to school!
*We are very happy to say that we are allowed to see the play "Charolette's Web" at Immaculatta University. The cost of the trip will be $10. We only need one volunteer for this event. If you are interested please send me an e-mail, so I can add you to the list and we will pick from a hat. The mini trip will be held in March. We are also beginning to plan our annual zoo trip. If you have a zoo membership please let me know, so that you will not be added in the count. All students and parents will have to pay for the bus.
Math- We have begun money! The kids are doing well and they really LOVE the real cash register! Please practice counting change. The highest we have gone thus far is $1.00. We will have a quiz on Wednesday!
ELA- Our story this week is ALL science related. We will learn about the life cycle of a frog and pond life! We will continue learning about adjectives and begin to learn about adverbs. We are in the process of writing a class book. Our book will contain all different types of poetry! The students will have the option to buy the book after it is published! Words to Know: pond, wonderful, skin,insects, powerful, crawls, shed, spawn, bulges, vegetarians Spelling test is on Friday!
Religion- We will have a test on Thursday or Friday. The retreat will be on Friday in school.
