When does my child need to take the second spelling test on Friday?

Your child needs to take the test over again if they receive anything other
than an A+ or an A++ on the first test. Your child always will receive the
higher of the two grades. If your child is absent on Friday, they will
receive the grade from the first test.

Is Mrs. Camp really Miss Porter's sister?

Yes, although Mrs. Camp has always told Miss Porter that she was
adopted. If you've ever seen them (or heard them) together you know
that just isn't true!!

You're right! Snoopy, Lucy, Linus, Charlie Brown, and the rest of the Peanuts gang!

Do students need to purchase any school supplies?

Not unless you want to have a larger box of crayons than the eight pack I will give you.
I will provide pencils, crayons, and any materials you need in my class.

Are there any materials they should not have?

I prefer that third graders do not have pens of any kind in my class,
including gel pens. Thanks!

Do you know what animals are Miss Porter's favorites?

I love horses and big furry dogs! I also think Holstein cows are pretty nice--I drive past
them in fields and say, "Hello, girls!" (They're the big black and white ones!)
