Welcome to my web page! This is my second year at St. Athanasius/Immaculate
Conception School and I am very happy to be teaching the fourth grade. I
have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Holy Family
University. I also attended Catholic grade school and High school.
I have a wonderful family who support me fully. I love to spend time with
my fiancé, my daughter and our puppy, Lucy. We enjoy watching movies and
hanging out on our free time.
My expectations for the year are for the children to work hard, work well
with each other at our school, and treat each other with respect and
kindness. It is very important to develop good study skills and become more
self-reliant rather than depending on the teacher alone.
I feel that good Catholic morals are very important. I also believe a
student's success largely depends upon a cooperative effort among the
student's family, the teacher, and the student. Therefore, I encourage
parents and guardians to actively be involved in your student's school life.
I am looking forward to a wonderful year and am so happy to have your child
in my class!
The mission for fourth grade is for students to learn responsibility and be
respectful of theirselves, their classmates, teachers, staff, and their
environment. In doing so, students should:
1. be to school on time
2. follow procedures
3. do homework on time and get it signed by a parent or guardian
4. have test folders signed and returned on time
5. be clean and dressed neatly in their school uniforms everyday
6. remember to wear their gym uniforms on gym day
7. not gossip
8. tell me when there is a problem
9. study hard.
If fourth grade students accomplish this mission, they should get good
grades and be prepared for fifth grade.
