We have another short week in Kindergarten this week. We are winding down our year together and wrapping up all our loose ends. We have been practicing for our End of Year Show (sorry if you keep hearing the same songs over and over) which will take place on Thursday, June 7, 7:00PM in O'Brien Hall. We are starting to review all the wonderful things we've learned this year and getting ready to move on to our next adventure.
I have sent home a list of important dates between now and the end of the year. I will give more details as each date approaches.
In ELA we will be working with the sound of letter "x". We have two new high frequency words; "has" and "look". These words will be sent home on flash cards that you can add to your Word Rings.
In Math we have begun working on telling time. We will only work with identifying the "o'clocks" for now.
In Religion we will honor our Holy Mother Mary by crowning her each day during a prayer service in our classroom. Each child will get a chance to crown our statue.

Bike Rodeo-Thursday, May 31, your child should bring their bike to school and MUST have a helmet
Kindergarten End of Year Show- Thursday, June 7 O'Brien Hall 7:00PM (this is our last day of school as well)
Kindergarten Picnic-Friday, June 8 10:00-1:00
