About The Teacher

Hello, and Welcome:

Since this is the beginning of my fourth year at St. Christopher's, and I
know that I may actually know some of you by this time (because I have had
the pleasure of teaching your other children), I still may not have had the
opportunity to meet all of you, personally, so please allow me to briefly
introduce myself.

My first job upon graduation from college was teaching 8th
grade. I later chose to leave the teaching profession, and for the past
eleven years have been a Human Resource professional with General Electric.
For personal and professional reasons I made the recent decision to return
to something that I had previously enjoyed doing in the past--teaching.

As I mentioned above, this is my fourth year at St. Christopher's, and
having had such wonderful experiences these last three years makes me even
more excited about this coming year. As I begin this new year I am eagerly
anticipating both the challenges and the opportunities that await me.
Having you, their parents, as partners makes me feel very good and full of
promise as we approach this school year since I know no one could possibly
care more about your child's success, well being and growth than you
yourselves. What better partners for me to have!

Please know that I am here to serve you and your children, so do not
hestitate to contact me should you have any questions and/or concerns.

Mission For The Class

In general, my role is to establish and to set high standards and goals, and
to develop the intellectual, emotional, social and religious growth of every
student with whom I come in contact.

More specifically, throughout this school year I see our mission, as a class
and as partners, to continually support one another, to respect and to value
each other's individuality, to recognize our accountability for our own
personal growth and that of our classmates, and to continually look for the
opportunity in every challenge. It is my hope that this class takes
seriously their responsibility to always act with the biggest hearts, the
best character and the highest integrity. Armed with these three very
important characteristics, you cannot fail as you will be people with
vision, self-confidence and fearless resolution.
