RELIGION
Our lessons for First Reconciliation continue with the Ten Commandments. We
have learned the first 3 which are about loving God. The next ones are about
loving others. We know the fourth commandment now. Ask us about them.
READING/ILA
A famous character named Ronald Morgan will teach us about teamwork and team
spirit.
Spelling and Phonics sounds will be on contractions. For homework the TIC
TAC TOE board will be used. ONE BOX per night should be done.
MATH
We are working on the value of each digit in double-digit numbers.
Please continue to practice Math facts at home. We will do the same in
school. It will be extremely important to know the facts well when we move on
to carrying and borrowing.
GRAMMAR
Proper nouns are the focus of Grammar this week. Ask us to sing the noun
song to you. It helps us remember the definition.
