Dear Parents and Students,
Thank you very much for the extremely generous class gift and all the
individual gifts. You are most kind. I am most grateful.
Just a few reminders:
*Those taking the Neumann Scholarship test - essays are due in school on Jan.6.
I will turn them into Sr. Angela.
*Please have new felt pads for desks and chairs. They have really helped this
year, but some are in dire need of replacement.
*ABW Writing Contest essay is due Jan.4. We started these in school. Please
turn in 2 copies with cover pages containing
Name
Grade 8
Mrs. Rebuck
St. David School
Your name should NOT appear on the essay itself. It may be between 150-200
words. The topic is "If you had unlimited resources, describe specifically
two ways in which you would make the world better."
This will be graded.
There will be a meeting tonight, Monday, January 4th for anyone interested in
attending the Steubenville trip in FCH - 7-7:30pm. Margie Regan will be
giving out all information. If you cannot attend but are interested, please
email stdavidyouth@comcast.net.
BAKE SALE THIS THURSDAY - JAN.10
There will be a dance this Friday, Jan. 8th at St. David. If you can
chaperone please contact Colleen Weathers.
Please send in any pictures you have for the yearbook as soon as possible.
The committee will be working on this very soon.
