State Project will be due during the first week we return from the Christmas
holiday. That would be any day of the week of January 4, 2010. Don't bring
any food items in until we speak about the exact day that you will present.
Please be mindful to come in and copy homework and finish the next
assignment. This week it will be centered on Language Arts. What is not
completed in homeroom will become homework. If you are efficient and focused
you should not have Language Arts homework.
In general, as a class, we are still not connecting our vocab and concepts as
well as I would like us to in Science. Your study sheets will be changing
to require more use of vocab and connections with the concepts we are
studying. I want you to reread every night and talk about the pictures we
draw and explain them in your own words but include the Science vocab. We
talk about how to study all the time. I want to know that all my students
are doing this. It really does work.
