Happy Valentine's Day! We will exchange cards and take home our Valentine boxes on Tuesday!
This week we will concentrate on the letter K and the number 2. In Religion, we will learn that God made
flowers. Our story for this week is Henny Penny. The children will discuss what job their parents have
and how it helps our community. In science, we will continue to discuss the weather and the seasons.
We had a wonderful time with our 4th grade buddies! We decorated Valentine cards and made a craft
together. Then we had cupcakes and drink boxes to celebrate. We also had fun dancing with our 4th
Grade Buddies at the dance!
Students can bring in their Valentines for their classmates. Just a suggestion, when you send in
the Valentines, it is easier if you do not put a name on them. Your child can just put one into each
cubby.
