TRANSFER OF FEES
If CARES is canceled and your child was scheduled to attend, the fee for that day may be applied to another day or the next calendar.  This would also apply to an absence. The exception to that policy would be for early dismissal days.  Due to small numbers on those days, we only have CARES if there are enough children to cover the salaries for those hours.  Therefore, that fee is not transferable. 

TWO HOUR DELAYS
If we have a two hour delay for weather, a teacher will be in the Lower School from 9:00 until 9:30.  As I type this, I worry that so many families would drop children off on those days that the teacher would be overwhelmed with numbers.  So please use the Morning CARES on those days only if absolutely necessary.


We have many children registered for CARES this year with asthma mentioned as a health issue.  May I ask that parents of children who do have asthma please have the appropriate medicine in the backpack so that it is available to us at CARES.  I also ask that you include written instructions and please see us so that we can go over any instructions personally, as well.

Morning CARES
If you are going to use only Morning CARES, the registration process is not necessary.  Morning CARES is available to any St. David School family.  Please read the information that follows as this applies to mornings.

1. St. David will have CARES from 7:00-7:45 in the morning. Any student arriving before 7:45 is to report to the CARES teacher on duty and have the necessary fee.

2.  All Morning CARES is in the Lower School building.  Any students from the Upper School will be crossed by a teacher at 7:45.

3.  We would encourage payment by cash, please. 

4. Breakfast will not be offered, but the students may have their own snack.
