HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
The next topic in Math is measurement in both the standard and metric
system.At home, please give your child opportunities to measure things. When
baking Christmas "goodies" let your child help with measurement. This will
be a fun learning experience for everyone.
During December and January the third grade will become weather
forecasters. They will learn how to read weather maps and varous weather
symbols. Turn on The Weather Channel to familarize your child on the local
and national weather.
