Can I turn in work late?

Work that is turned in beyond the due date will be accepted and
graded at 50% of the original credit. This extension will be
valid for one day past the due date. Any work not turned in
within one day of the due date will not be accepted for any
credit, and a zero will be issued for that assignment.

How much time do I have to submit missed work due to an absence?

You will be given the same number of days to complete the work as
the number of days you were absent. This does not apply to work
missing due to a scheduled vacation.

Does every project have a rubric?

Almost all large scale projects will be accompanied by a rubric.
Large scale is classified as anything that exceeds a 50 point
value in my grading system. There are some smaller scale
projects (usually averaging @ 25-30 points) that are issued
without a detailed rubric; however, the students are told exactly
what is expected of them.

Can everyone do Extra Credit?

No, only students with two or less missing homework assignments
and no missing projects can complete extra credit. If a student
has more than two missing homework assignments or a missing
project, they will not be permitted to do extra credit. Extra
credit is offered for those students who complete their
assignments and are still not quite where they would like
to be gradewise. Extra Credit will be offered the first two
semesters only - there will be no extra credit offered for the
third trimester.
