Instrumental Music

Instrumental music instruction is offered weekly for students in grades 4 through 8 whose parents wish to enroll them. Instruction is given during school hours. Band members participate in Christmas & Spring concerts.

Field Day

Students in grades K though 8 participate in Field Day each year which generally takes place in May. Students participate in various outdoor games. The games and/or teams are arranged so all students can participate regardless of their athletic ability.

Field Trips / Class Trips

The purpose of every class trip is to broaden the intellectual, cultural & social experiences of each child. There will be no field trips or activities that the School deems to be high risk.. Each student, parent{s}/guardian{s} must sign a permission slip for each trip in order for the student to participate

Student Council

The Student Council functions as a service group for the school. Members of Students Council are elected from grades 4 through 8 and serve as classroom representatives and are elected within their homerooms. Students in grade 8 are elected by a vote of 8th graders to serve as officers. Members of the faculty serve as Student Council advisors. Student Council officers meet periodically with the principal to determine service projects, activities & needs of the student body. Under the supervision of their advisors, the Student Council plans & carries out the activities throughout the school year.

Kick Ball

An after school activity, Kick Ball, is offered to students in grades 3 and 4 on Tuesdays from 3:15 to 4:15 pm and for students in grades 5 though 8 on Thursdays from 3:15 to 4:15 pm during the school year..
